Our story
Data, not advice.
Why we built a nutrition tracker that refuses to lecture you.
Pipal began with a simple frustration: every nutrition app shouts advice, but people managing a health condition don’t need another lecture — they need the facts, in numbers their GP recognises.
So we built a tracker that does exactly one thing brilliantly: it gives you the data. UK foods, NHS and NICE reference values, a condition-aware score on every meal, and a clinical report you can take to your appointment. It never prescribes, never nags, never tells you what you “should” do. That restraint is deliberate — Pipal is a data tool, and the medical decisions stay between you and your healthcare team.

From the founder
“I kept seeing people managing a health condition handed apps that lecture them instead of inform them. They didn’t need another voice telling them what they ‘should’ eat — they needed clear numbers they could take to their GP. So Pipal does one job, honestly: give you the data, grounded in NHS and NICE values, and stay out of the way. No guilt, no upsells, no selling your data.”
